Big Island Scuba Diving

There are many wonderfull dive sites to choose from on the Kona coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. Sea Wolf Charters will do their best to take you where you want to go, although choosing the dive sites are sometimes determined by the weather and ocean currents.

Sea Wolf Charters operates two dive boats, the “Sea Wolf” and the “Lil Steamer”. Both are comfortable, safe vessels with easy-access dive steps to get in and out of the water.

On the boat ride out to the dive site your Divemaster will give a briefing on the upcoming tour and help you with your gear. Upon reaching the dive site, you will follow your dive-guide underwater where you may explore lava arches or caverns, soar above beautiful coral reefs, and glide through schools of colorful tropical fish. Cruise along the steep drop-offs off our Pacific shoreline and search for the many “cleaner stations” here; where you can visit green sea turtles as they rest on the coral bottom and are cleaned by a variety of fish.

ALL DIVE GEAR IS INCLUDED!!! If you are not a certified diver we also offer Dive Intros. A dive Instructor will give you a more detailed briefing and lesson on the dive boat and then accompany you underwater on your tour. This is a smart option if you are considering becoming certified and want to give scuba a try.
