Your exciting day begins with a scenic narrated drive from downtown Hilo to the Visitor's Center at the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park by way of the famous Banyan Drive and Lili'oukalani Gardens.
Fill your senses with the adventure of a lifetime! Experience the volcano up close and personal as you travel through plush rain forest and lava frozen in time up at the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. During your visit you will make several stops throughout the park. You will stroll through an incredible rain forest that leads you inside a lava tube. With steam curling around your feet, walk out onto the heart of the volcano at Halema'uma'u Crater. Enjoy island fresh fruit, macadamia nuts and other assorted snacks and beverages throughout the tour. During your ride you will also stop at the Jagger Museum where you will see videos of the volcano errupting. Throughout your tour your guide will share with you history and geology of the area during the frequent stops along the way.
This tour also includes a stop at the famous Akatsuka Orchid Farm that is home to thousands of orchids.
